Sail America’s mission is to promote professional development and networking opportunities between and among members. Working together, as an industry, is even more urgent now as we emerge from COVID-19 restrictions and face unprecedented consumer demand. How are we helping you? In addition to continuing to offer discounted exhibitor space at the “new” Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show for all Sail America members, we have made other important changes to better serve you. These include:

  1. Sail America Industry Conference (SAIC), which successfully brought together leaders in the industry to Annapolis, MD in April 2022 to network, socialize and engage in current business focused content. The 2023 event will be larger and feature additional opportunities for networking and socializing. Join your peers at the best networking event in the industry April 19-April 21, 2023 in Newport, RI
  2. Annual industry breakfast at the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis and awards, where Sail America and the Annapolis Boat Shows update the industry on key events, where we honor the sailing industry’s leaders, and showcase best in show awards.  
  3. Quarterly member-focused webinar series that includes notable speakers and topics. If you missed the live events, these recordings are available to all Sail America members for free. Last year’s topics included Customer Retention and The Sailing Market 2021 State of the Industry.
  4. Publication of the sailing industry outlook report on industry trends developed by Sail America in cooperation with Info-Link Technologies, Inc., a market analysis group, to provide high-level sailboat sales and registration data. Stay tuned.
